It seems that we have been waiting for Christmas since the first decorations began appearing in the stores in October . . . and then it’s over, except for the mess under the tree – or is it?
The true meaning of Christmas remains because the babe in the manger became the Savior of the world. God’s gift to us all continues in each heart that accepts Him.
Is Jesus a part of your life? As you move into the new year, I hope only the best things happen for you, but unforeseen challenges and perhaps even heartbreak could await. It’s very difficult to handle life sometimes without the One who promised to never leave or forsake you (Hebrews 13:5, “. . . Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you,” a partial quote from Deuteronomy 31:8. “And the LORD, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed”).
As the world gets ready to ring in 2024 with parties, concerts, church services, and all kinds of celebrations, I wish you the peace that only comes from a relationship with God. May He be with you throughout the new year.
God bless – Sue
